Handyman Ministry

We encourage our men and women to not just talk about being Christians, but living it out. Every year our Handymen ministry engage in numerous disaster relief opportunities both in and outside our community. From rehabbing houses, building wheel chair ramps, or serving on the chainsaw team.

Sharing the Gospel with Bikers / Coming Augest 2016

Each year, the Dakota Baptist Convention and churches from around the country join together to share the Gospel with thousands of people at the Sturgis Bike Rally. The rally hosts approximately 500,000 people each year in the small town of Sturgis, South Dakota. At the event, passersby are able to enter a drawing for a new, Harley Davidson motorcycle after listening to volunteers share brief stories of how Christ has changed their life. Hundreds of decisions are made to follow Christ each year as a result of the work being done.

Through the missions and evangelism ministries we have in place, we can serve as the hands and feet of Christ in so many ways to share His love, making an eternal difference in the lives of others. God only asks that we make ourselves available to Him.

The opportunities to serve are limitless, and the rewards eternal, whether or localnational mission projects.

We encourage you to pray about where God is leading you to serve.
